If you've ever been to Ocean City, Maryland, then you know that Thrasher's has the best french fries ever. This is one of their many stands on the boardwalk. I didn't really do it justice, but stuff on the boardwalk is always fun to draw.
This is me and my sweetie eating at a local Thai restaurant. We don't do this that often and it is a treat when we do. I felt like this moment needed to be captured in paint.
T This is a local pizza place that caters to the college crowd. I've never eaten there myself, but I hear it's good. I just love the fact that it's a pizza parlour in a house on a residential street. How sneaky is that.
So this is me, as my boyfriend pointed out. Let's just say I love living in the woods, but I also love fashion magazines and red wine. So this is me in Paris if Paris was in the woods.
I wrote this when I decided to start a blog. Great. Just what this world needs - someone else whining, I mean talking about themselves on the internet.
This is a bar across the street from where I work. It is a classicly seedy bar that I think looks awesome from the outside. We rarely go there, however, because they serve drinks in plastic cups and most of our friends go to another bar that we frequent, as a result. In any case, I still love this place even if it is superficially.

I live with my partner and his three sons. We have a non-traditional family, but we do have pretty traditional routines like eating breakfast and supper together most days and having very traditionally ginormous holiday meals.
I wrote this when I was thinking about my mom's birthday and what kind of a card I was going to make her. She didn't get this one because I wasn't sure she would like it.
This is a painting of a bird in a tree. I live in the trees and when I look out my studio window, I often feel like I am living in a treehouse. I love to watch the branches move in the wind and listen to the birds communicate. I'm not the best at depicting either realistically. Other folks can do that much better than I.
